Hey MOM! I have been sooo good lately! Everything is going really well! I did talk to Andre and he told me he was struggling with certain things.. I’m not exactly sure what they were.. he made me promise him that I would NOT go home and I made him the same promise! So moma numba 2.. lil big buddy will be all good I promise! This week has been good.. Although the people here in England are not as friendly as the Mexican culture I still find a way to love them and care for them.. You asked a little about general conference... as you know I’m 7 hours ahead of you so that means I was at church from 10 in the morning to about 11 at night.. we watched the whole thing live! It was GREAT! The whole time I was listening to every word, I thought to myself when I was home I would NOT have the energy to watch the whole thing.. many times I remind myself and I’m struck in amazement of how much energy missionaries have! I don’t know how the Lord does it. Before I came out here I received a blessing from President Walker for strength.. Since that blessing my hips and back have never failed me.. mom at times I feel like someone is walking for me, I don’t know how to explain it but I’m sure you know. This General Conference a few missionaries came together.. In our area we have 2 sister missionaries, one of them has anxiety REALLY bad and I guess she has been sick for awhile.. she came to me and asked for a blessing of healing.. this was my 1st blessing of healing.. I was nervous, I felt like my heart was going to bust out of my chest.. I told her she would be healed of her sicknesses and afflictions that held her back on her mission, that people were waiting for her and that God loved her! I said many more things that I don’t remember.. I was reminded of what I said and I told her through her faith is the only way this will come true..between the 4th and 5th Session of General Conference they showed a Mormon message on pioneers! MOM remember the people we saw in JosA Bank when we were buying my suits.. the older couple! WELL GUESS WHAT!?! I guess they were from this little town and they were on this video thing.. the older man was the 1st temple president of the Monticello Temple in San Juan Utah! Also they were the 1st small temple ever! I was so happy to see that video! I just had to tell you that! Another thing I was SO HAPPY to see ELDER ALONSO give that talk! I think I smiled through that whole talk! I love that guy! lol About my investigator.. I think I did tell you a little about him but here is an update. he is a bouncer for a club. his baptismal date is for the 15th of this month and apparently he got beat up! lol I felt bad for him.. he really wanted to come to conference but I guess he was - sore- haha I sure love this guy. The next guy will hopefully be baptized at the end of this month! He is also very curious about the gospel and really wants to be baptized!
Sounds like everything is going really well at home.. send my regards to everyone who asks and tell them I’m doing really well and I love being out here! You asked about me being homesick?? um I don’t really think about home cause I’m worried about the people I teach so therefore I’m not homesick! but I’m sure sometimes I will get a lil homesick.. A couple of new investigators dropped us but its fine.. I know that they felt the truthfulness of the message I share and they chose to deny it and follow the world.. it’s alright they could take that up with Jesus when they die lol.. it’s weird sometimes being a missionary because people trust you soooo much that they just open up and share everything.. most of the time I’m like uhh uhhh ohhh yeah umm okay I think that’s okay alright I don’t need to hear that lol :) I taught this guy in Spanish the other day.. his wife is from Honduras and he is from Spain.. she being a hardcore catholic didn’t want to listen to me, so I told her I received a few blessings from catholic ladies as well anyways long story short I got her to be on my side.. We were teaching her husband about the Mormon church! isn’t that funny! i think with time she will follow her husband and be baptized! Awesome huh!!
I’m still needing to buy a couple of things and then I will be set! So watch out for my debit card okay.. the money I brought with me over here I used to buy a heavy nice coat the other day.. I got a nice deal on it.. so just watch out for what I buy okay.. Give my number to Aunt Rachelle’s Dad.. we have our phone on us all the time so he is welcome to call and perhaps we could get a lunch going on.. Mom I won’t be able to deny it but I have felt people walking with me, I feel strongly about Colton and Grandpa Max being here with me.. I feel like since he didn’t let me hang out with him before he died he is doing his best to show me his love as well as Colton and Gracie! I’m thankful for all the prayers and nice comments people say about me and send through you to me! I’m very happy and I’m doing really well!
